Timbre events and trainings

A series of workshops and dissemination events have been organiszed in timbre open for practitioners and researchers beyond the boundaries of the project. These timbre events include training activities for practitioners and researchers at all levels to contribute to the emergence of the timbre tool suite platform. timbre events are your priority opportunity to meet timbre partners in person.

TIMBRE Evaluation & Training event in Zielona Góra Annouced

ReDevelopment – PPP, management, financial and legal framework for regeneration of brownfields - Ostrava, Czech Republick

Seminar "ReDevelopment"

TIMBRE project organised in cooperation with Technical University of Ostrava (Partnership for Czech Brownfields project) and Institute of Geonics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, a workhop with title ReDevelopment – PPP, management, finantial and legal framework for regeneration of brownfields. During two days of this cross-national event (March, 1-2, 2012) more than 10 contributions were presented and training of students in topic of brownfields regeneration in the Czech Republic was carried out. Besides lectures on experiences and barriers with brownfield regeneration from UK and the Czech Republic, more than 50 Ostrava stakeholders - owners of brownfields, politicians, students, representatives of local and regional authorities, representatives of regional development agencies, representatives of local culture, academics etc. - participated in following discussions. The event was guided by Ass. Professor Barbara Vojvodíková; the afternoon programme of the first day was led by the research team of WP3 of the TIMBRE project.

timbre at EUROSOIL 2012 - Call for Abstracts

The general theme of EUROSOIL 2012 “SOIL SCIENCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF MANKIND AND ENVIRONMENT” aims to encompass several aspects and to offer ample opportunity to explore many issues of current Soil Sciences. The main objective of the Congress is to provide an interactive forum of exchange of ideas by bringing together and establishing durable and strict relationships among older and younger soil scientists and researchers, technical and professional operators, industry and administrative representatives, policy makers and regulators operating in the field of Soil Sciences.
