GESA portfolio

The GESA Society for brownfield development and decontamination Ltd. is a company of the Federal agency for special tasks (BvS, formerly Treuhandanstalt THA). GESA-activities are currently restricted to the federal states of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, Berlin, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Thuringia. The properties of GESA comprise some 2.980 ha of land covering landfills, waste sites, brownfields and industrial wastelands.

Within timbre, the GESA register will be used in WP3 as case study for demonstration of the prioritisation tool.
