Policy

Policy is in general understood to be the basic principles by which a government is guided. In a more narrow sense, policy is the declared objectives that a government or party seeks to achieve and preserve in the interest of the national community. A policy is typically described as a principle or rule to guide decisions and achieve rational outcome(s).
